The Rose Brooch is a reoccurring item in the Suikoden series. It is an item that is used by Narcissists, and in some games, can also be equipped by anyone (Suikoden V). The Rose Brooch appears in Suikoden, Suikoden II, Suikoden III, Suikoden V. It does not appear in Suikoden IV or Suikoden Tactics, but is replaced by the equally important Rose Crest. In some cases, the Rose Brooch is used in recruiting a Narcissist character, this includes Simone Verdricci and Augustine Nabor. The same goes for the Rose Crest in recruiting Schtolteheim Reinbach III.
