The RG2727FZA features a mahogany body with flamed maple top, a Wizard HP-7 neck and a rosewood fretboard. Other features include DiMarzio PAF pickups and an Edge Zero-7 tremolo bridge. This model replaces the RG2727FZ which is similar except for using different pickups. The RG2527ZA is similar except it lacks the exotic flamed maple top.
