The Crab-eating jaguar is a species of jaguar that eats crabs. It lies down on beaches, waiting for crabs to come. Sometimes, it can go underwater to look for crabs. Despite its name, it not only eats crabs, it also feeds on fish, small reptiles, and some mammals such as monkeys, smaller cats, and tapirs. It can hold its breath by closing its nostrils for almost four minutes. It is a carnivore. It lives on beaches of South America and Central America.
