The DC0040 Intergalactic Airspeeder is a civilian speeder model developed by Daystar Craft in the late years of the Galactic Republic. It gained the moniker "Intergalactic" after a Daystar ad campaign that promoted the speeder's power and starship-like design. That name would also be carried on to the DC0040's successor, the DC0052 Intergalactic Airspeeder, which was used by the Jedi Order during the Clone Wars.
