In addition to being a tasty treat, they also work well as gifts for significant others. During the course of the game, Devon Aidendale receives a box of sokolatak-ya that smells strangely of overripe fruit. If he eats it, he will fall into the same restless sleep that befell Erasmus and Shakra Sah Tarna. He should instead give it to Salim and Julanar so they can develop a cure for Erasmus and Shakra.
