Carol Jean Vorderman MBE (born 24 December 1960) is an English media personality, best known for co-hosting the popular game show Countdown for 26 years from 1982 until 2008. She has appeared on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire thrice - first in 2000 as a solo (the first celebrity contestant in the show's history), then in 2010 with Gok Wan and finally in 2013 with Caroline Quentin, on the final live show in the series.
