Code 1-5 was the Rebel Alliance order to begin evacuating Echo Base on the planet Hoth. It was used during the Battle of Hoth when Imperial AT-ATs overran the base's defenses. The Rebels evacuated their equipment and personnel using Rebel transports. The transports attempted to breach the Imperial blockade around the planet one-by-one along random escape vectors, supported by Echo Base's ion cannon and a minimal escort of two X-wings to each starship.
