Krikonians were a mammalian sentient species who lived on the planet Faary. They were extremely resistant to cold, they could endure freezing cold of minus 200 degrees. When they first managed space-traveling they colonized their freezing moon Vaar and turned it into a prison, but in 500 ABY many more Krikonians came to live there. Krikonians where the most peaceful species in the Urum system but they when the bravest warriors when they truly needed to fight. This was shown in The Urunian war when Faary was the only planet which wasn't controlled by the Empire.
