Khota was a male Tezwan later trained as a peace keeping officer by Christine Vale in late 2379 when the USS Enterprise-E took control of Tezwa, additionally showing skills in the medical arts and becoming the team's field medic. Khota was a member of Tenila's team, which saw considerable action, including coming across a recently escaped Commander William Riker. Khota hesitated while laying down covering fire for his team, and was killed in action. (TNG novel: A Time to Heal)
