Charles Milles Manson (November 12, 1934-August 4, 1983) was an US porn distributor and the founder of Smut Industries. After his release from prison, Manson, noticing the change in moral climate in the United States, set up his own studio in his basement in Los Angeles where he recorded himself having sex with local prostitutes and runaway teens. Throughout the 1970's Manson became known by smut peddlers for his sadism and demand for his videos were popular with those who enjoyed Sadomasochism.
