The 1955 Swiss Grand Prix was an event of the 1955 World Championship which was scheduled to be held at Circuit Bremgarten on August 21 1955. The event was cancelled in the wake of the 1955 Le Mans disaster in which more than 80 spectators and Pierre Levegh were killed. To this day auto racing is outlawed within Switzerland.
