A Listen Anytime, abbreviated LAT, was an electronic device that played assorted types of media, such as music, for personal use. Invented around the time of the Invasion of Utapau, a conflict between the planet Utapau and the Trade Federation shipping cartel, the device was widely regarded as being popular among those who would perform supposedly tedious and repetitious work. One such person was Epin Lanmaw, a young farmer on Alderaan during the reign of the Galactic Empire.
