Vibroshock weapons were a technology experimented with by Dayna and Hal Mellanby on the planet Sarran. At high power levels vibroshock weapons could be deadly, but at low power they merely caused the target intense pain but no apparent lasting damage. The Mellanbys used the weapons at low power against the Sarrans led by Chel in an attempt to drive them away from their base.
