The Ustalavan settlement of Ravengro is located in the west of the county of Canterwall, close to the contentious border with the Hold of Belkzen. The settlement began as a residential area for guards at Harrowstone, a rune prison established in 4594 that once housed the most notorious criminals of Ustalav and the surrounding region. However, the prison closed after a devastating fire in 4661 which destroyed the prison and claimed the lives of many of many inmates and guards, including Warden Lyvar Hawkran.
