David Gilson is a freelance illustrator and cartoonist who specializes in character design. He illustrated the covers for the French translation of all published The Land of Stories books sofar. (The English version and all other translations are illustrated by Brandon Dorman). He studied at CFT Gobelins in Paris. His portfolio includes work for Walt Disney Feature Animation, Ellipsanime, Marathon, SIP Animation and Xilam.
