Medraut's Rebellion, also known as the Great Betrayal or the First Imperial Schism, was a four-year conflict between the forces of Emperor Straxus the Conqueror and his half brother Malloraxes, Duke of Medraut. The war was infamous for ending the Classical Period of Xaronese history and giving rise to the Clash of the Princes.
