The Omnica Corporation was the corporate company responsible for developing the omniums and, by extent, omnics from automated construction machinery and self-improving software algorithms. The corporation installed facilities all around the world, promising to bring an economic golden age. The company was shut down after omniums began malfunctioning and evidence of fraud was discovered. However, the omniums later reactivated and launched a massive military campaign against humanity, beginning what later became known as the Omnic Crisis.
