His Excellency Yoohanon Mar Chrysostom (born 19 May 1944) is the Metropolitan Bishop of the Eparchy of Marthandom of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church. He was the third son of Abraham and Achiyamma of the Kalloor family at Kadammanitta, in Pathanamthitta District. He completed his Secondary Education at Government High School, Kadammanitta. He joined St. Aloysius Seminary, Trivandrum. After the completion of his minor seminary formation, he was sent to Trichy for doing philosophy and theology. He was ordained a priest by his Grace Benedict Mar Gregorios on 5 May 1973. He started his pastoral ministry as the assistant vicar in the parishes around Balaramapuram.
