The strike team was a task force of Jedi that were sent to assassinate Sith Sorcerer Cluj, the leader of the Crimson Empire. As the rest of the Republic forces engaged the Crimson army, the Jedi broke into the Dark Castle, Cluj's stronghold. After fighting through Sith Sentinels, Sith Juggernauts, Sith Necromancers, and Sith Fencers on the castle plaza, they penetrated the palace and fought off several Crimson Guards. The strike team dueled Cluj himself in his throne room, and defeated him after a long fight. Out of the 26 Jedi that entered, only the four masters came out alive.
