Genma and Ranma are off training in the mountains when an avalanche causes them to retreat to a nearby hot spring resort, which Genma remembers is where he and Nodoka honeymooned after they were married. Nodoka is also revisiting the hot springs, and Ranma and Genma have to disguise themselves as Ranko and Mr. Panda once again. Ranko is wearing a coat that was made by Nodoka, and she recognizes it as belonging to Ranma. Ranma and Genma attempt to flee the scene to prevent Nodoka from finding out about them and Ranma's coat is given away to a monkey. Nodoka sees the monkey and returns to the resort, while Ranma and Genma were hiding in a freezing pond nearby. She comments that her son looked just like a monkey while Ranko tells her it was not her son.
