The JCRG16C01 features a slightly smaller (98% normal size) RG body with a strip of maple down the center with Honduran mahogany wings and a spalted maple top. The maple and wenge neck is also slightly shorter than the typical RG neck with a 24¾" scale. The neck has a 24-fret bound ebony fretboard with offset dot position markers and a headstock which matches the top. The fretboard is much more rounded than the typical RG with a 250mm (~10") radius. The frets are medium/jumbo size. The neck is attached with a slightly thicker than typical All Access neck joint.
