Stephan Toren was Calvin Tower's three times great grandfather. His will (composed on March 19, 1846), included a piece of paper addressed to Roland Deschain of Gilead/The Line of Eld/Gunslinger. The envelope and letter out lived Stephan's will and bear the markings of 'unfound' that appear on Black Thirteen's box as well as the Unfound Door.
