Vinka was a female Qomar. She came aboard the USS Voyager to listen to a concert by The Doctor and was seated next to Tom Paris. Harry Kim became attracted to her, and she pretended to like Kim so she could use him to be near The Doctor. Along with Azen, Vinka pretended to be ill so she could spend time with The Doctor in Voyager's sickbay. She wanted to hear him sing and ask him questions about music. She also guessed he could calculate pi to a thousand digits. (VOY: "Virtuoso") Vinka was played by actress Nina Magnesson.
