Stati della Chiesa (Italian for Papal States) was a novel written by Janielle Potvin and published by Carnegie Mellon University Press in 2416. Its credited author was unknown and it was written from a plot outline given to Janielle. Compared to Fillet of Filler, it was better received by the critics but did not garner as any hardcopy orders as Fillet of Filler. Ariane Binks stated that Stati della Chiesa reminded her of some history course at the University of North Carolina. (Star Trek: False Vacuum: "No plot? No problem!")
