The tower was destroyed in the final battle of the Mage Wars, known as the Cataclysm. Descriptions of the remains of his tower are said to be melted rock. The remains of Urtho's workshops and weapons were discovered buried beneath the slab of rock by the mages who came seeking a way to protect themselves from a second Cataclysm heralded by the Mage Storms.
