The machine was designed to protect the Godoans from extinction, and a malfunction, such as the removal of any of its components, affected the entire planet. The Dancing Goddess, along with another statuette from the House of the Goddess known as the Minstrel, were much sought after, as it was said that they led the way to great power when brought together.
