The USS Danton (NCC-42765) was a Excelsior-class starship, and was formerly captained by Scott Shepherd, the current captain the USS Vortex. The ship was names after the 21st century's second richest female and fifth richest person on the planet, Henry Danton who was the designer of the Chang'Hai Station that orbited Venus in 2027.
