The Adventures of Grover and Khokha is a initiative created by Sesame Workshop, with support from the Mosaic Foundation, in 2009. The program is designed to teach children (and even adults) in the United States of America about the cultures of the Arabic society. Grover, of America's Sesame Street, and Khokha, of Egypt's Alam Simsim, appear in brief skits where Khokha teaches Grover a new word in Arabic and a tradition that reflects that word. Several films were also shot, starring children who narrate films about their lifestyle and hobbies.
