Clinton LaVor "Clint" Romesha (//; born August 1981) is a former United States Army staff sergeant. He received the Medal of Honor for actions during the Battle of Kamdesh in 2009 during the war in Afghanistan. Romesha left the Army in 2011 to spend more time with his family. He later took a job in the oil industry in North Dakota. On 11 February 2013, he received the Medal of Honor from President Barack Obama.
