Richard Joel Stewart was born in Brooklyn, New York. He has an extensive record for Renaissance Pictures, including nearly 50 different credits for Xena: Warrior Princess, and nearly 30 different credits for Cleopatra 2525. He also wrote and edited several episodes for the 80's show, Remmington Steele, which starred Pierce Brosnan.
