Nellie Booth (née Leach) was the mother of Jerry Booth and the sister of Sam Leach. Nellie and her husband Ernest had either died or refused to visit their son on Coronation Street; they did not attend his wedding to Myra Dickinson in 1963 or his funeral in 1975.
