Diego Roots is a reggae/surf/rock band native to San Diego,California. Formed in 2001, Diego Roots is known for its self produced albums, "Good Times", and "Rise Above", with a third album, "Dying to Live" to be released. Currently under Dago Record Label, Diego Roots has began to increase in popualrity since its debut on Myspace in 2005. With sounds similar to Sublime, Bob Marley, and the Police, Diego Roots has a familiar, Southern California style than resonates in each song. Popular songs include "Wait a Minute", "Good Times", and Haitian Girl". The band consists of Chris Mcconnaughey (vocals), Ryan Kelley (guitar,Vocals),Josiah Panella(drums),and Brandon Jensen(bass).
