Tyrone and Molly Dobbs were involved in a car crash on moorland in April 2010 after the brakes of their car failed, the task of fixing them not having been completed by Kevin Webster and Tyrone having taken the car, not realising that this was the case. The Policeman was one of the emergency services that arrived on the scene and pulled Tyrone away from the car as the fire officers cut Molly free, telling him that the tipped-over vehicle wasn’t safe. He also insisted that Tyrone take a breathalyser test, stating that it was standard procedure.
