Quetzalxochitl "Sally" Vejar was a tall, sturdy female Human Starfleet officer of Nahuatl Native American origin. She was Jean-Luc Picard's first officer on the USS Portia during her mission to find the Manraloth. She was more experienced in administrative than starship duties, but had extensive knowledge of the tactical and political details of the region that the Portia was going into.
