X-Men: Genesis is a 2013 American superhero film, based on the X-Men characters appearing in Marvel Comics, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. It is the sixth installment in the X-Men film series. It serves as both a prequel and a soft-reboot of the franchise.
