At first, it seemed strange that the Coalition would send one pilot against the Bions, especially if that pilot was a member of the Council of Peace. Additional Backstory: The Player Character was a war hero in the Bion Wars, and was placed in charge of the Coalition military afterwards. You also oversaw the construction of a new prototype fighter. However, it couldn't be deployed in time to stop the latest Bion attack, which saw the destruction of the entire Coalition military. You have taken out the prototype fighter in a last-ditch effort to stop the Bions.
