Blanche tells Ken what his "life-crisis" is doing to his marriage. Joe plans a bowling trip with Tina and persuades Gail to be there with David. Deirdre arrives home to find Ken burning his manuscript. She feels for him but cannot forget what he said in the heat of the moment. She leaves to stay with Liz.
