Steve Halliwell (born 21st March 1954 in Bury) appeared on Coronation Street in four roles: * Council Official Mr Toft in January 1984 * Paul Hindley in May 1988 * A Returning Officer in May 1991 * Bob Cairns, the barman in The Queens pub, making sporadic appearances between May 1993 and January 1994. His other credits include roles in Second City Firsts, Pickersgill People, Crown Court, Children's Ward, All Creatures Great and Small, G.B.H, Heartbeat and Cracker but is best known as Zak Dingle on Emmerdale - a role he has portrayed since 1994.
