HMS Ajax was a warship of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Hakon Nessler served as an Ensign on the vessel in an early stint in the Navy. He resigned from the service in order to become the 14th Earl of Greatgap. Shortly after his departure, the Ajax was lost with all hands. In 1905 PD, Nessler renamed the Colonel Arabi the Ajax in honor of his previous assignment. (HHA1.2: AGT)
