Ferwul was a female ermine tracker in the white hordes of Gulo the Savage. She was among the twenty vermin sent with Shard to scout out Redwall Abbey. While on a forward scouting mission with fellow ermine Brugil, she discovered Sister Armel and Brookflow and aided in their capture. She is a minor character, not much else is known.
