__NOINDEX__ Blues Joe X (aka Peppe o Blues) is a blues guitar player from Italy. He was born in the industrial suburbs of Naples in 1965. John Lee Hooker let him know The Blues and, in particular, The Guitar when he was 11. The first important step for his career was in 1984 when he was at Umbria Jazz: he could attend clinics and play with Curtis Fuller, George Adams and Dannie Richmond. In 1985, he was in the Umbria Jazz Clinics Big Band that opened Art Blakey and Jazz Messengers and Stevie Ray Vaughan concerts: in this occasion, he won a scholarship for the Berklee College Of Music in Boston (USA). There, Blues Joe X could study with teachers like Kevin Eubanks, Jim Kelly, Al De Fino, Larry Monroe and Orville Wright. In 1988, he came back to Italy and, in 1990, he estabilished his own ba
