Buddhism has existed in the Ukraine since the late 19th or early 20th century, largely due to immigration from countries with Buddhist populations, mainly North Vietnam and Korea during the Communist period. Although sources are not readily available, Buddhists are believed to constitute 0.1% of the total population in Ukraine.
