When Bad Thieves Turn Good is a 2001 American Crime Thriller Drama Action film written by Scott Alexander and directed by Tim Burton starring Johnny Depp, Kate Winslet, Denzel Washington, Chad Michael Murray, Morgan Freeman, Anthony Hopkins, Helena Bonham Carter, Liam Neeson, Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler. The film is much like Phil John Anderson's Sneakers and Bryan Singer's classic The Usual Suspects. The film concerns a group of thieves who come together as one of their own has been murdered and as they prepare for a large heist in Bologna, Italy begin to be picked off one by one.
