Roslyn was born in 1275, amidst the civil war between Ehb's royal family, and the Azunite fanatics under Jeyne Kassynder. At age 14, Roslyn was forced to flee into the Glitterdelve Mine after Jeyne Kassynder attacked the royalist stronghold of Glacern, killing the rest of the royal family and leaving Roslyn the sole heir. She was crowned Queen of Ehb, and would continue her forefathers' war.
