Second son of the famed Dwarf-maiden Grîs Mixedblood, Khâlin joined his older brother Dân to attempt a bloodless overthrow of King Brôin of Rûrîk, Of the Line of Druin the proud and combative Khâlin failed in the coup, spent several years imprisoned in his house, and emerged chastised in the Second Age. Khâlin fathered Dôr and died of Orc-wounds in S.A. 1430.
