There were rumours that the Recon Goggles would allow players to enter the Dangerous Mineshaft located in The Crystal Catacombs (which give access to the Elder Vein Mines), but this turned out to be untrue. The Recon Goggles are now available in Spy Bear's Tree House in Wildwood Glen.
