Dark chickens are corrupted chickens that live in the southern regions of the Wilderness. They have a very strong magic attack, and players who wear melee armor will not survive an attack from a dark chicken. Dark Chickens always drop Raw dark chicken, which can be cooked to make a medium level food, and Black bones, which which when buried will temporarily decrease Prayer levels, yet temporarily increase Magic levels. Dark chickens also drop from five to twenty Blue feathers, which can be used to catch certain types of fish in flyfishing.
