Pierre Denis was born in Telamon and immigrated with his parents to Hutori at the age of three. He is a Rhodes Scholar from Oxford University and also has a M.A. degree from Telamon University. Denis was a lawyer at McMillan, Binch Law Firm where he mostly did lobbying work for global corporations in Hutori and Telamon. He joined the Centrist party in 2378 and was elected to Parliament in 2380. He became Foreign Affairs Minister in 2386 until a cabinet shuffle saw the Centrist loose the FA portfolio. He was then given the environment and tourism portfolio which he has been holding to this day.
