The OBJECT_TYPE_* constants are used to indicate the various types of objects. This is a bit field, which allows constants to be combined with bitwise-or (|). There are no constants indicating areas or the module. (This is possibly due to those types making no sense in all but one of the contexts in which these constants are used.) Also missing constants are sounds.
