The weapon is mounted on a servo-powered gyro-stabilization harness system that enables it to be carried by a single trooper and ensures that recoil is kept to a minimum, in effect turning the operator into a walking tank capable of countering any threat. That being said, its massive bulk and recoil have been known to cause severe and paralyzing spinal problems over the course of only a mere week if the operator does not meet certain physical requirements. Only the toughest and most resilient troopers are capable of using the weapon for any length of time without suffering any physical drawbacks.
